DIRECTOR OF SALES & STRATEGY
Full-Time | Harford Sound LLC | Hybrid / Remote Flexibility
Overview:
Harford Sound is entering its next phase of growth—and we’re looking for a Director of Sales & Strategy to help lead the way. This role is designed for someone who knows the live events space, understands how to build lasting relationships, and wants to take an active role in shaping how and where we grow.
This is not just a sales job—it’s a strategic leadership opportunity for someone with vision, grit, and a book of business (or the ability to build one quickly).
What You’ll Do:
Drive growth: Lead the sales effort across all sectors—concerts, touring, corporate, branded events, and festivals.
Develop strategy: Identify target markets, shape our go-to-market approach, and help refine service offerings to meet demand.
Leverage your network: Use existing industry relationships—or hustle to build new ones—to open doors and win work.
Collaborate with ops: Work closely with project managers, and leadership to ensure deals are profitable and executable.
Represent the brand: Be visible in the market—on site, at shows, in meetings, and at industry events.
Who You Are:
A proven closer with 3+ years in live events or production sales
Deeply connected—or eager and capable of building a network fast
Fluent in the language of AV, lighting, staging, and touring
Skilled at balancing short-term sales activity with long-term growth strategy
Independent, organized, and outcome-driven
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: Highly competitive, based on experience and network
Bonus: Annual bonus tied to strategic goals and new vertical development
Other: Health benefits, PTO, travel stipend, and hybrid flexibility
Why Harford Sound?
We’re a serious player in the mid-Atlantic live events scene—and growing fast. With a combined inventory, crew, and footprint that rivals companies twice our size, we’re positioned to take on bigger, more diverse projects across music, corporate, and special events. We’ve got the tools. We’ve got the team. Now we’re looking for the right person to lead the charge forward on the sales front.
This is your opportunity to build something meaningful, not just inherit a pipeline.
How to Apply:
Send your resume, a short intro, and a highlight reel of wins—past clients, projects, or relationships you’ve helped develop. Confidential inquiries welcome.
